Freedom Fest was about celebrating our independence, the fireworks have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the crucifixion and you know it. Stop trying to always bring your anthiest views into all of your posts.

I thought the event was great. Waiting in line was long, but it gave people a chance to chat with "strangers" and have some quality time with family. I did not think the music needed to be so loud, it was hard to hear each other speak at times. I thought the Star Spangled Banner was completely uncalled for. I don't think we needed to listen to "Jimmy Hendrix" butcher a song that is supposed to pay tribute to our country, our vets, and those serving in the forces right now.

eastsider, where do you live on the East side?? Last I knew, Village Green, Canyon Drive apartments, and low income housing was over there, and there has been a LOT of trouble at those places. That's no where near Beloit! Get real.
