The "5" was to be omitted in that sentence. No more writing/blogging for me at night. :) Besides that, care to share your workday productivity tips for us?

When I heard the news last night, it almost felt like a family member had died. Steve Jobs was a a true visionary and leader. He took the digital world to new heights in a short amount of time. Personally, he inspired positive change in my life. He's a version of what any aspiring careerist and influencer hopes to be like.

Starting meetings way late or really long meetings. I also dislike negativity. People who are negative, tend to believe the world is an unpleasant place, and they do everything possible to make it that way for themselves and for others.

On Your memories of 9/11

Posted on September 2 at 8:59 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

I was a freshman in college. It was the first week of school and the attack was the first thing I saw on TV in the student lounge area that morning. Back then, everyone had phones but no Twitter and Facebook (otherwise, I would have known about it sooner.) I remember feeling very sad, worried and fearful. Initially, I thought it was some kind of joke. Classes were immediately cancelled. It was hard for me to grasp. I was dating an airman at the time and knew exactly what that moment meant ... he was off to war. It was a moment I'll never forget.

On UW-Whitewater’s name growing beyond borders

Posted on July 26 at 2:52 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

I'm glad UW-Whitewater is receiving more and more press for the great things it's doing! I'm a graduate and working in the fields I studied. I choose UW-Whitewater over UW-Madison for its smaller class size and its prestigious school of business/marketing and communications. UW-Whitewater is a great institution and I'm glad to see it rise above others. GO U-DUB-DUB!
