Kid....you realize it is going to stay illegal period. I want it to be a crime for ever, and it will be. We have enough jello-heads making our country weak. I agree it is burdening the system to fight it. So I say lets get tougher. I do not back down from the line in the sand.

This article is about booze and driving. We are too soft on that also. You argue about the apparent waist of police time and economic advantages of legalizing pot.?? I CAN"T IMAGINE THE BURDEN OFFICERS WILL HAVE WHEN EVERYONE DRIVING AROUND IS NOW HIGH ON DOPE ALSO! Why don't you losers quit with your worthless arguments, and become real men. There is plenty of stuff out there that is enjoable, unhealthy, and NOT illegal-for you to ruin your lives on without potentially hurting others! You know damn-well that people would drive around HIGH more than they already are (key point), and these two-ton vehicles require 'sobor' drivers.

Why put any description in the report if you are afraid of the race descriptor? It is not a sin to be of a particular physical color or sex or anything else! It is wrong however, to terrorize clerks, attempt to steal, or any other crime! So just report what it is...............Everytime these news articles are on the news site, it avoids race. Please correct me if I am wrong. 'Correctness' has nothing to do with it.

While I know we can't ignore the knowledge and information gained about gangs, I am sure that society needs to stop legitimizing them (the gangs). Giving the subject too much attention. Just squash it where ever it is. If that is the end effect of these 'units' then I support it. But no more game playing!

Some of you who read the news (online or otherwise), are the same people who let your loved ones do these things. So much for caring...No matter what the cost (relative to), you need to step in...! These younger people need to be shown what life is suppose to be about. I grew up fairly poor, but I never went that route. I never allowed for the peer-pressure to sway me, my parents wouldn't allow it. No excuses. Parents, need to be parents. This is where most gang troubles start-in youth. Take control.

Yes there is a current problem with the gangs. Yes the unit assigned to the issue, is doing a good job of data keeping and application of such data. However, I personally feel (all of) these gang members have the rest of us over a barrel.

First, if you don't stay on top of their signs, signals, colors etc etc, yada yada...then you are not going to know what's going on in all of the criminal world. Thus lacking the intelligence to do whatever...police related. But secondly, we are substantiating this crap MADE UP way of life, and giving it new life everytime we acknowledge it...such as all these clowns who keep putting their poses, and gang related crap on their 'my-space' and 'face book' pages etc. When I see this stuff, all I see is silliness.

I would rather be a little ignorant, and push for a no-tolerance attitude...I'm sick of hearing about these clowns. The worst part is, many of these 'members' have friends and family who could give them the kick in the pants they need it. Until then, I guess I have to support efforts of these gang units.

Both of these subjects are a waist of air-literally and they are guilty obviously.....BUT. We have a system in place and I agree they will not get a fair jury selection. The members should be chosen outside of this venue. Otherwise those two cause us to break our system of 'fair jury selection'. Let another county body-selection find those two devils guilty! Then we win while playing by the rules!

Great job to the Trooper! Regardless of how much was needed to apprehend this guy, or how much investigative effort was needed, you showed great police presence on a fine traffic stop. The long chases, combative subjects, etc get head lines, but these are the kind of headlines I like to see.

No I will not use it. I am stronger willed than that. It is a bad substance to put into the population. Problems will result. I don't need excuses to get a 'fix', because I have other better things to do with my life. So continue using it if you have to. It does not make sense.
