On Rock Democrats issue State of Rock County

Posted on January 28 at 3:21 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

Youkillme....that's because liberals stomp their feet and can't play by the rules. Conservatives knew Doyle was off his rocker, but they waited like good voting citizens to make a change at the election (scheduled election), rather than forcing a 'do-over' at the sensation of self-righteousness. Liberals complain and abscond from responsibilities when they don't get their way.

On Rock Democrats issue State of Rock County

What an act! The statements made by these people are not even enough to be considered loose-associations. Enough with empty can rattling. This is meaningless. I hope the real people in this state make their stand when it counts. I have happily all but left my union. I am unsure if I can totally do so.

Bring back business, accountability, freedoms, and an escape from socialism and bureaucracies, as Walker is doing! Why do monetary changes in the teacher's income (or output) affect the classrooms anyway? I keep hearing about 'cuts' to schools also, but it is not well defined. I think it's the union thugs having a last gasp.

Something not-negative-against-Walker.....by the A.P. no less!

On Status of Wis. budget depends on view

Posted on January 23 at 12:24 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

The Associated Press is absolutely horribly biased in it's reporting. Just simply watch for it and look at the average. As for all of you talking about points of view...how can we make decisions as people when the media is trying to swagger things. I wish the liberal media would cease to exist and become objective. Walker can't balance anything if people won't let him!

G.P., No I meant it as actual, but I see what it sounds like. Either way, a recall is unwarranted regardless of the louder-than-actually existing people who disagreed with this move which affected collective bargaining etc. Simply vote him out next term if he was so wrong, recalling into another vote is nothing more than a temper flare by those who disagreed.
*
By the way, voter ID will 'cost tax payers so much money' which the left-wing claims and was against allowing, but this recall-joke is costing a heck of a lot more, and it clouds the issues of balancing the budget. I cannot believe so many people are falling for this!
*
We should keep Walker until the end of his term, and then vote again.
*
Dear Abe...trickle up failed. No opinion about it. Thanks Doyle, Pelosi, Obama........Walker did not enjoy a "power grab", he is simply a realist who wants to account for spending.

This is totally wrong. Walker will be challenged in a recall because he did not waiver, and did something just barely unpopular (the state is nearly split on the union bargaining issue). He did not do anything to deserve a recall effort. He did not commit a crime, or lie etc. That is what a recall is for---a protection from politicians who actually break rules, not for following beliefs or party lines.
*
I am ashamed of these people, including some of my peers. Walker did what he had to do.
*
I hope the silent majority comes out for this one, and retains Walker as our Gov. HE BALANCED THE BUDGET! AND IN RECORD TIME, unlike the fluffy mathematics and real tax burdens created by Doyle and his minions. I can't stand how we won't even be able to see the outcome of Walker's changes, but Doyle could do almost anything he wanted. I blame the unions for this horrible swagger and influence. It's like mafia-style tactics, without actual violence.

On State government employment declines 10 percent

Posted on January 11 at 11:28 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

I see this as good news. I am greatful for the change. We won't see the effect though because of all the empty can rattling going on. (Recall crap etc.). I have been noticing how many of my peers are all for the right to carry concealed, but are angry about the cuts. Our state needed to give Walker a chance rather than to recall him, and they would see the positive change in our state's economy. Our state government is too top heavy. I only worry that the state may cut some positions which are needed, rather than the fluff. We need to stop this recall crap too. It is clouding the issues horribly.

Without parental intervention and actually trying to intervene, there is little that can be done. People in these moments of decision have to want to stop it.

Thank you Janesvillecomments! This reality is heard much anymore. Also, look at how many people are doing this CCW. It must be what the people want...Our oppressive state government of the previous term would never allow these freedoms-thank you Gov. Walker.

Should unions and supporters of unions decide all language and referendums to be pushed in everyone's face? Send messages to yourselves.
