I have lived in Janesville my whole life and I never realized how cold hearted and uncaring people in this town are. At least the people that worked for GM and the UAW are not as cold hearted as everyone else. I would much rather be associated with one of them then the likes of all you who think you know about GM and the UAW.

my dad was in skilled trade for years at gm he retired as an electrician - they do go to school for their trade it iwas ongoing schooling while he worked at the plant. Once he retired they gave him his journeymans card so yes he can be an electrician outside of gm.

I have one and I pay about 4.00 every two weeks in gas. It is worth the money. Compared to what I pay when driving my mini van the 2000.00 was well spent. Yes you have to buy insurance for them.

I am not going to argue the point but they also were used in WWII storming the beach at Normandy they also were used for the Baton Death March where only 35 members of the Janesville unit returned home all the rest were killed. That is only a few examples. The guards are used more than people think.

as a wife of a national guard soldier they have a state mission and a federal mission. They can
be called up by either the state government or the federal government.

nurse4u I have a 2003 chevy venture and have never had 1 single problem with it. Bought it brand new. I now other people who also have them and they have had no problesm either. You can buy a car from ford, chrysler or even a foreign car and get a lemon. It isn't just GM.
