This would be an o.k. idea if our class sizes weren't already 30+ students per teacher. The school budgets have been cut drastically, teachers have been laid off or forced into early retirement.....Now she has the idea to invite foreign students to our schools? This would have been an even greater idea before they increased class sizes.

Earned....I said I work and pay my taxes. Therefore I'm not just sitting around soaking up state benefits. As I said before I don't buy much "junk" food anyways. Food stamps are meant to be used as a supplement. So that's what I do.....I buy food with what cash I can spare then I use food stamps for the rest. And as far as drug testing. ....who cares!? I don't do drugs so test away. Im guessing it's your assumption that if you're on food stamps u must do drugs. Well not I said the fool!

Frogger.....when and if I buy junk food it is with my own food stamps.....the food stamps I pay for. You have nothing to say about what I buy. If any of you think that what us food stamp recipients buy will ever be controlled you're just as crazy as the words you type.

Whz....you're right I get taxes back but not all that I pay in. Sigma....you sound so very intelligent. As I said I pay for my food stamps. You must be 1 of them rich people that doesn't nor will ever know what it's like to struggle. Popping out kids and sucking up tax payers money? Yeah that's what I do as I work 6 days a week. Im sucking the state totally dry......me and my big pile of kids lmao. The sheer ignorance of some people is amazing.

Real sad that th U.W. system has heen hiking tuition costs for a few years and they have this much of a surplus. It wouldn't be such a big issue if they haven't been kicking up the tuition cost.

I wonder what some of the people making ignorant comments would say if someone gets food stamps and pays taxes. That's me.....I work, pay taxes and get food stamps. So I'm actually footing my own food stamp bill. But I also don't buy a lot of junk food or soda with my food stamps. If I want to I should be able to without being talked down upon. I notice it's usually the same people making down grading comments on most of the articles. Find a hobby!

I got my hair cut last week and donated to Locks of Love as well. I called several salons and only 1 said they'd cut it but you had to mail it in. The rest I called would take care of it for you. I ended up going to Aglo Spa and Salon I received an awesome FREE hair cut and style by a great stylist named Natasha. I ended up getting about 15 inches cut off! The only requirement is you have 10 inches to donate. Aglo is the only one I called that offered a complimentary hair cut if you donate the hair. I've been wanting to do this for a long time and am very glad I did it for a great cause.

On AlcoCare closes its doors

With this facility closing the judicial system will one more way to criminalize drug and alcohol addiction. If there was more inpatient residential facilities they could better treat addiction instead of throwing them in prison to get lost in the system.
