I hate to admit this but I do know both of these people. Yes they are both alcoholics, who have been in and out of jail for most of their lives. I believe that this is what's wrong with our court system today. These two I believe are a danger to our society. They can be in jail for up to three years and get released, and it's not even hours after being released from jail, and they are drinking and driving and doing the same things they were doing to be put into jail in the first place. People like this don't get reformed while in jail, so why is the court system constantly releasing them back into society? It isn't until an innocent family or by stander gets hurt that the courts crack down on people like this! We all knew it was only going to be a matter of time before they ended up hurting somebody, but we never would have thought it would have been his own father. I am just so relieved that it was not a family with kids. Someone commented on the up bringing of Jacob. I honestly believe that we all have a choice in the way we turn out as adults. Do you take the road of crime and drugs and alcohol, or the road of prosperity, honesty, and loyalty? You can chose to be like your parents or you can chose not to, again it's YOUR CHOICE! Once you choose, you cannot blame anyone else or society for your screw ups! Jacob is going to have to take responsiblity for this, and I can only hope that the courts don't go easy on him, and that justice will be served so no one else gets hurt.
