Shame on you, Dave Olsen! What is your OBVIOUS vendetta against Larsons? I'd like to know when you are going to start enforcing fines and fees on other members of Magnolia township who are completly ignoring driveway and building permits in your OWN backyard! Not to mention that you are spending OUR money and assuming that we can 'pay for it later'... I think it's time you take a step back and figure out who's interests you are REALLY serving! You've obviously made sure that Larson's paid their fines...how about checking in on some of your other constituents who are breaking rules!

Here it is: in all the situations so graciously shared with us by JSNTM...lights and sirens were used and we were all taught in basic driver's ed classess that THAT MEANS to STOP...period. I will NEVER attempt to micromanage what the police officers have to do in any of these situations, nor will I condemn them for doing their job. We are lucky to have people willing to take this crap and still show up to work each and every day! God Bless this little boy and the tragedy he has endured.

On Rodeo coming to the Rock County 4-H Fair

WHAT are you people talking about?!! The 4H Fair, whether in Janesville, WI, Milwaukee, or Superior, is about kids and young adults showcasing projects that they create with their own hands or bring animals they've raised and trained. It's about teaching responsibility, character, and compassion. The ENTERTAINMENT portion of the fair has always been family-oriented and appropriate for all ages, regardless of the type of venue. Why is it so necessary to blast at people for taking a risk on something new?
As far as kids/adults with Confederate flags, IMO, they do it because they can. They do it because they THINK they stand for something that they really have NO idea about (which is sad). They do it to make others uncomfortable. It really is a shame.
