Because Rachel Maddow is such a trusted unbiased source. You rip people like Limbaugh and Beck and say nothing about your left-wing liberal Maddow? What a surprise.
Come home and do your job Cullen. Imagine if the minority ran every time they didn't agree with a bill, there would never be another law or legislation passed. It is all part of the political process. Something has to be done to clean up Doyle's mess!

JCK: Well put! Some people just need to vent. I just wish people would admit the possibility that they won on a bad call. Game is over can't change it now, but still a bad call. GO CARDS!

Maxthecardinal: Wide right is facing the goal from the field. It is football 101! That being said your argument is a mute point. The field goal was said to have been missed wide right. This puts any argument of it being outside the left upright invalid. You can clearly see it disappear behind the right upright, making it good. Bottom line, bad call, but Brodhead-Juda wins. All I am saying is take the bias glasses off Cardinal fans, realize you won on a bad call, and go kick some Big Foot Butt!

liveandteach: He was running at an angle to the endzone so he left the ground inbounds. ( I was at the game) That poor call was just one of many in a game with the poorest officiating I have ever seen. I realize it is probably getting more difficult to find objective non-biased qualified officials, but it seemed like Delavan had to beat two teams Saturday!

To help all of you out with the video the ball allegedly was wide right, not wide left as most of you are presuming. And if you do watch the video in slow motion, you can see the ball disappear behind the right upright. 2-D or 3-D does not matter in this case, the only possible outcome was that it was good. That being said, knowing this is not going to change the outcome. Both sides know it was a questionable victory at best. Again it is just sad that a great game had to end under controversy.

MikeF you are correct to some extent. But I have heard that the referee was not paying attention when the ball went through. It is sad that he wasnt paying attention on such a serious occasion. To show the fallibility of ref's, look at this pic in the Delavan game and tell me this wasn't a touch down!

I was at this game, and while I am biased to Delavan, it was probably the worst one sided officiated game I have ever seen. But what's next, instant replay in High School? I think I will stick to human fallibility and hope they just get it right....by the way, Dan Lassiter was asked to leave the game because he attempted to show the official the misssed call...kudos to you Dan!

I watched the video several times and not once did I doubt if the field goal was good or not. I am from neither Nekoosa nor Brodhead Juda. It is just sad that a game has to end this way on an obvious missed call. I am not sure what distracted the ref under that side of the goal, but he had to have been distracted to miss that call. That being said, what really can be done by the WIAA? Unfortunately that is the problem with human fallibility. We are subject to making mistakes. The Papermakers can take pride in their season and know that they were the better team that night. We will just never know what could have been. Good Luck Cardinals. Maybe you will get another official asleep at the wheel in your next game!

Oh my. I can't count the number of times I have either eaten at or ordered from Lisa's. I would bet over a hundred. My wife and I had our first date there over 20 years ago. I have never once had a service or attitude issue. No excuse for negative reactions, but I would venture to guess that as usual we are hearing one side of the story and that Lisa's might have a different take on the situation. By the way my Janesville Pizza Rankings (if anyone even cares)
1. Lisa's (good enough for the owner to have attitude)
2. Jim's
3. Tony and Maria's
4. Sam's

I understand the value of a union especially when the union has a "leg to stand on". Unfortunately in our current economy and willingness to whore our manufacturing out to the lowest bidder, often time sacrificing quality, it has all but destroyed the power unions once had. Some unions have also abused the power of the union in the non-lean years which has now caused the damage we are seeing. However, it takes two to tango and the companies have approved concessions and are just as much at fault. After all this rambling, I agree with those to vote for the concession. While it may "feel good" to stand on your union principles and say no, it feels better to eat and pay your bills.

"Tony Schaeve tells the State Journal that a strike could affect schools, governments and private businesses, but crucial services wouldn't be interrupted."
Because schools aren't crucial services? It's moron's like this that give unions the bad name they have gotten!
