It would be nice if it came to Edgerton. It costs 60 dollars round trip to go to Janesville by cab once -- thats robbery! We dont have a car anymore our van broke down, and I think that would help since we don't have anything but the local cab and my husband has been trying to look for work in the surrounding areas.

Let me point out something, I have a friend on facebook who was facing threats and harrassment on facebook, and they would make up fake names and say things. It was so bad she called the cops, and 3 girls kept doing this. The cop would not do ANYTHING. What is this, the cops only help people in certain counties or jurisdictions. I witnessed the threats and they even made a group about her!
Why isnt more being done? I am certainly glad they did something in this case, but does it really have to be an ex bf or gf doing this for it to be taken seriously?!

I think cops need to really crack down on this crazy behavior. I understand about resources but the law is the law and stalking and harrassment is what it is and should be handled accordingly regardless if it is on the internet!

Apparently this man is struggling with alcohol abused and needs to sober it up. Put him somewhere where he can detox and let him sit in prison for a long while. It will save a life Im sure keeping him off the roads!

I have been in similar situations. Recently I moved from a place in Beloit and was paid up until the 2nd Friday in February which was the 12th. I moved out the 8th and the landlord took 128 dollars from our security deposit for 7 days of rent.. when our agreement said the second week of february. When I called him he never returned my phone calls. Looks like I'll be going to court for my trouble and asking for double myself! I have all the proof.

I know firsthand of landlords just taking what they want, and also, they charge obscene amounts of money on unneccesary repairs. It is just unfair to tenants for landlords to do this kind of thing and I think it is ridiculous for them to get away with it!!

Ok, so why didnt they call the humane society, go get a tranquilizer gun and take the dog down? Then all they would have to do is go get him and then the dog would be home right now with his owner.... hmm that would have made more sense than a tazer, snare or pepper spray!!

Think about all the people who are in domestic violence situations where they are in danger of having their life taken by themselves or someone else. I know at least 4-5 people directly that have been affected seriously by domestic violence or suicide. Think about how many you might know. Its not something you can easily just count on your fingers.

He smoked it 6 hours prior? I'm thinking there is more to this story. If he smoked it 6 hours prior he shouldn't have still been "stoned" unless you added something to the mix. By hour 6 you would think that would have worn off quite a bit!!

Ok, so if they want to go ahead and say how many lives they'll save by people wearing seat belts in a car, perhaps they will "buckle" down on motorcyclists not required to wear a helmet. I have seen the dmv statistics on that and it isn't pretty either. I wear my seat belt and feel if we have a large box around us and they have like nothing protecting them, why are they not concerned when there have been a tragic number of motorcycle accidents and fatalities when people did not wear a helmet. Perhaps they should make that a law and collect revenue on that.

What I don't understand is why so many people sit there and think that a lot of people who are struggling take advantage of the system. Things do happen and this is why there should be things in place.

Big corporations (such as insurance companies)are reaping profits from the lower class and yet they are the ones saying that poor people are taking advantage.

If you really want to get rid of all this dog eat dog in today's world, why don't we have more equality? If the rich were at the same level as the rest of us and all of our basic needs were taken care of, we might not have all the crime and violence as well as money grubbing from each other. We might actually have some motivation to go on living normal lives and get to enjoy life instead of trying to screw each other over.

I don't think any person should be denied their basic survival needs. Why should insurance be any different. You are going to tell people born with some terminal illness "tough crap" simply because they cannot afford it due to their inability? You want to deny their basic survival?

I think everyone deserves health care that is affordable and efficient. I would hate to see anyone who is at the top of the food chain to end up at the bottom and see what it is like to have an unfortunate life experience and be denied quality affordable health care.

I think some people should take a walk in the "I need a life-saving medication and its too expensive" person's shoes.
