There was more to the story as we all know. The Gazette was NOT there and did NOT interview any of the staff or customers of the Marine Corps League. It was not only a outside incident, it was clearly started previously and the Marine Corps League had nothing to do with it, but did promote safety for everyone involved and will continue to do so in any future gatherings. The investigation is ongoing as stated and hopefully the people involved will be identified.

The law doesn't protect women as they should. They make it so hard to even get a restraining order that nobody will come forward. I was there this week trying to get one in place and was denied! I guess when something happens to the women they turn down then maybe something will change- NOT! If you haven't been physically abused to where they can see it , then it doesn't count. Abuse is Abuse don't they get it! Having the guts to even ask for help is hard enough but then to be not only turned down but treated like the abuser instead of the victim is even worse- no wonder nobody wants to ask for help. I can say it was the most tramatic experience in my life- the court date was worse then the abuse!!

I had Brad as a counsler and after a few weeks of seeing I requested someone else because I felt that he was hitting on me and asking way too many personal questions about my sexual issues with my husband. I knew there was something untrusting about him, and I am gald I changed my counsler. Woman- you need to trust your intuition...

Thanks JIMBEAM for the comment. I also want to thank the people who have called today with donations for our Family, its great to know there are people in our community that care! Always remember - pay it forward- it will always come back to you.

To the others- no matter what you say to try to hurt our family or make this matter worse than it already is, it will never get in the way of our family surviving this traggic accident or anything else that may come our way- WE ARE A FAMILY AND NOTHING OR NOBODY CAN CHANGE THAT!

Does it matter how the benefit is being held or why its happening the fact is a Family member was criticially injured and someone in his family is trying to help the other family member because she loves her family! Was it also noted that Josh's stepmother- Laura Krueger ( and Jerrie's Aunt) was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer and Jerrie had a benefit for her at a bar as well ( 6 months ago) and nothing bad was said. This is about family taking care of family in any way possible. A person hurts the same no matter how there family or friends are injured!

Condition of Josh- from his cousin

As of yesterday he was still in coma ( not induced coma- he has not waken up as of yet from the accident).
He have several broken bones from his spleen all the ways to his toes. He also has liver and head trama. He will have to have dozens of additonal surgeries to recover, as well as plastic surgery. He can not have visitors in ICU ( only immediate family members) and no phone call information can be given to anyone except Carol and Rudy ( his parents). We all have spent the last few days 80% at the hospital and the other at home worring just as you all have. We cannot say what the outcome will be its on a hour to hour basis and we are just praying he makes it through it.
