On Are you for or against Favre?
Posted on January 21 at 11:57 p.m. ( Suggest removal )
All things move on. Brett Favre moved on (now a couple of times) and the Packers have moved on and our own lives have moved on. For those who are true Packer fans I think it is a disgrace to root for an ex player that has crossed over the line to the competition. Period.
On Seven Big Foot students injured in crash

It appears there is reason to believe the vehicle the kids were in was being chased by another vehicle. It appears the reason all the kids had to pile into one car is because one of the grown adults residing at the house these kids were at, snuck out and removed the keys from one of the kids two cars. The other grown adult at this residence got into his car and, when the kids realized they had been spotted and quickly reacted by piling into the only car that could start, this person chased them in the car. Now, don't you think it would have been better to just get the license plate of the second car and call the police? After all, the first car that had the keys removed was still on the property. AND once it moves to a public roadway, the person chasing is then turning it into and committing road rage. Think about this everyone! These kids are young and inexperienced. They can not be expected to "know it all" and certainly to not be able to handle a car yet under all conditions, especially something like being chased or road rage. The adults that partook in this ARE expected to have the knowledge and experience to AVOID such reactions though and to THINK LIKE ADULTS. NOT become like one of the kids.

It will never cease to amaze me what destruction one two inch tumor can do. While you are coming to the end of your journey in your body, you will soon begin another journey of much importance. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Peace and love to you.

On Walworth County property taxes, values up

Taxes are up. It is stated here like it is an item to be proud of. People are losing houses in Walworth County at a fairly high rate. Unemployment is up in Walworth County. Demand at Food Pantries in Walworth County is up. Yet we are supposed to be happy about our higher taxes? I don't think so.

thekid3477 - Yes, I am concerned about your grammar. If you want people to take you serious and to believe you are intelligent and your opinion may be worth listening to, then you have to do your part to portray it. (however you will now have to ignore my run on sentence here!) LOL

to thekid3477....and whoever else would like to read this.....I am concerned for you. Your anger here is uncalled for. Pot is known for relaxing people and you are far from relaxed. So perhaps you need to smoke a whole lot more or stop smoking all together. I am not opposed to pot. I personally do not use it, however I know people who do and who have for 20, 30, 40, + years and they live productive lives. (most without anger). I do agree that if the young man had only been under the influence of pot the accident may not have happened and two people might still be alive, however we will never know that answer. Being under the influence of ANY drug or alcohol does indeed alter the mind, the body or both. Proven fact. Period. Combining items intensifies the reaction. And each person's body is different along with the results of doing something is often different each time depending on a number of factors. So if someone is going to use, they need to always keep other's safety in mind and not be doing things that could harm others. Period. That is one reason we have an "under the influence" driving law, instead of only a drunk driving law.

If someone does something illegal and also decides to "enhance" the experience by posting proof of the illegal activity while they were doing it, then the person should not be surprised by some form of repercussion coming into play.
