milwaukee already gets most of our tax money for their failing schools!!!! While it is very generous for them to do this I am afraid it is money poorly spent!

Well from what I have read I can almost bet that this guy didn't do something that warranted actual termination. I bet he is laughing all the way to the bank! You cannot fire an administrator any easier than a teacher! I would guess he got at least 80 grand and some benefits out of the whole thing! If there is no police report or public record then he got paid to leave!!!! If you people really want to know what happened go to the district office and request the financials of the whole deal. It will make your head spin and blood boil! If they paid him he was railroaded!
On Parkview school residents face two referendums in April

RWT I agree that the school needs to consolidate by closing both Newark AND Footville sooner or later if enrollment keeps declining. It's the BS that get floated around by people like camper61 and nowwhat that ticks me off. If there would be a savings of 700k a year if Newark was closed they should have and would have closed it years ago! It is total BS comming out of nowwhats mouth/keyboard saying that Newark residents think everyone should bow down to them! that is what ticks me off the most. Sure alot of board members past and present have been from Newark but that is because they care about the whole district not just Newark. I find it really hard to believe that board meetings consist on just how do we save Newark. This referendum isn't about Newark alone it is about PHS. If a person is voting against it solely for the reason that Newark is open then that person is a bonehead! There is alot of wasteful spending up at that school (like trying to fire the ag teacher at a cost of god only knows how much)that needs to be looked at before people can be pointing fingers down at Newark.

Still waiting Camper61..... show me how you can save 700k by closing Newark.
Nowwhat the problem in PHS district is not the Newark people thinking people should bow down to them it is people like you that are jealous. Being from orford and looking at the whole picture what I have seen in my 30+ years in the district is the people from newark doing just as much as anyone else in the district for all the schools. Year after year they get the people like you going after them and kicking them in the face. 25 or 30 years ago when they were gonna close Footville cause the school was falling apart a huge majority of people that help stop that from happening were Newark residents. Newark has always had the best interest in the whole district. Hell I think the last group that worked on passing the last referendum the majority of the people were from Newark and Newark wasn't even on the chopping block.

well camper you got me there 177,000 saving but that would not be every year that would be over 20 years at a whopping savings of 8,850 a year. Maybe you should read first! Better yet why don't you run for school board!
