SwissChick, This guy doesn't want to stop working. He is in his early 50's and his wife still works, his kids are in college and just wants to continue working until they can both retire. He was offered to move to another plant but doesn't want to leave his family or home.

I love when the topic of gay marriage is bashed by the people against it they are quick to bring up marriage between animals and humans. Really? As far as I know homosexual love isn't illegal is it? But sex with animals is right? So why are they EVER in the same discussion? If two people love each other and want to be a family, I say more power to them and they should be issued rights like being able to share their earned work benefits. Just like the same people who get married for 72 days and call it quits.

Vatoloco, I know several displaced GM workers that have applied for jobs at much lower rates doing everything that can't even get an interview with other places because of people's view of the GM mentality. One guy has been working at Generac for the last 6 months just to get GM off of his resume. And he worked there for 30 years. Says Generac is the worst place he has ever worked at but nobody else will even give him an interview. He wants to work, could fully retire but WANTS to work.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Next year Milton is looking at laying off teachers because of a 1 million deficit. They agreed to the cuts Walker asked for. Yet, now they are going to be cutting even more?
