What is the difference if someone is texting vs. someone who is scrolling through a list of phone numbers or other info on their smart phone? I'm guilty of talking while driving but I could not drive and look at all the info on my phone at the same time. I do not text and I hate it when people do text me. People seem to want immediate responses to everything! If it is important enough to contact me, please take the time to talk to me-a lack of a little human interaction is what is wrong with a lot of things now.

Nice story. The crossing guard at the Milton Northside intersection must be mentioned as well. I think he has been there for a few years and he always has a smile and a wave. I drive down Kellogg Ave. in Janesville on my way to work in the afternoons and there is a lady crossing guard there too who always has a wave. Little things that make a difference in a good day.

I still wonder how so many of my neighbors can get away with putting out only one recycle bin every two weeks? Our family of 6 fills 5 usually, but then we recycle all the school papers and flatten cereal boxes etc. People just throw too much stuff into the garbage.

Good Work JPD. Sad to hear of people in my old neighborhood who got garages broken into and car windows smashed by these two losers. Given the list of crimes listed for them on the Court website, I hope they do some time! Probably not though so maybe next time they will get attacked by a dog or taken out by a gun toting home owner who felt threatened. No great loss.

Glad I did not take my kids to see this. I don't have a problem with the Micro wrestling. Seems like people must be interested if the stands were full. Maybe the Rock County Fair-which is supposed to be a 4H youth event, isn't the best venue. It would be great at that Red Neck fest though. I think it is good though that the people in charge of entertainment are trying to look outside the box. I don't like the all country music offerings either, so I don't go.

Didnt they just build this section of the bike path behind Walmart/Sam's Club? Now they have to tear up the area? They won't be tearing up the path though, correct?
