This is not the only animal that was shot by bow and arrow or a gun . In Hanover , a Woman was almost shot when she went out to feed a feral cat that she has been taking care of . As she got within 2 feet of the cat , a neighbor fired at the cat which killed the cat , richoched off the garage missing her by a few inches and went through her Picture window . I don't know if he even paid for the window and only got it for firing a gun in the city limits . I don't think he goy anything for killing the cat and the woman still cries trying to tell anyone about what happened . How's that for Justice !

I can understand what these smaller schools are going through . The Parkview school district has tried for a referrendum for many years but got voted down and has to come up with better ideas due to so many people being out of work . Several families have already lost their Homes and cannot afford to pay any more than the normal daily cost to survive . I can see where closing the Newark Elementary school will save them quite a bit considering there are only 69 students in that area who are already being Bused to and from school every day. It would save the District aroung
$ 350.000 by sending them to Orfordville Elementary . It would be a matter of riding the bus with their siblings who are already going to Orfordville and would shorten the time of riding the bus .

Moving into the country is not the answer to their problem because every township has an ordinance on how many dogs you can have on your property . Plymouth Towmship only allows 3 dogs also . They needed to apply for a Kennel License before they got that many dogs .Everyone has to follow the ordinances of the City , Village or Township or they will lose.

In Parkview School District We have collected things such as clothing , food and a place to live for any student that is in need that we know about . I personally took in a student that needed a home in his Senior year . He was very intelligent and finished school , got married and has a new bayb boy . He stops in at my house often to this day . I refer to him as "My Adopted Son " and treat him like I treat My own Children . Us from small towns don't want to see Children without a Warm place to stay . Our Students do donation drives and visit people in Need no matter what the circumstances and give what is needed . Our students at Parkview are the most caring and make sure their fellow students get what is needed even if it is a Home , Food , Clothing or other needs . When You are shopping and see something on sale for hardly nothing , Pick it up and turn it in to the School District in Your Area . Even though You have no need for it , There may be someone in you area who does . Right now , Winter clothing is on sale very cheap such as Pajamas for $ 5.00 a pair .These items went right out to the children in need to stay warm for the Winter . If You give a little , You may be surprised on what You will get in return . I have gotten Hugs , Thank You Cards and many more thoughtful things including Help around My house when needed. The way I see it is if I am ever in need , I know I will get the help I need .Help these Children in Need!

That is very true from all of You ! The other drivers should leave them out there when they don't know enough to Merge before the end of the Lane . Knowing them, they just merge to the left without even looking and the Driver in that lane has to either hit the brakes and let them in or have an accident .

To All You People on Unemployment here is a Thought or should I say there are Jobs out there for You . All School Districts are looking for School Bus Drivers and will Train anyone with a good Driving Record and a Clean Background with no OWI's or Disorderly Conduct , Sexual/Child arrests . Help Our Children get the Education they so Desperately need to even have a chance of getting a Job in the Future . Check the Job Listings at the Job Center that are out there waiting for People to fill these Positions instead of complaining about Your Unemployment Running Out !

On Sleeping student left alone on bus for 3 hours

A simple poster board cut into 6 signs with a "check mark " and written "for sleeping Students " put on it , Laminate it , then put a magnetic clip in the middle top of the sign to hold it to the metal above the window . All drivers are to walk the bus , then put the sign in the back right window could prevent this from happening . All inexpensive supplies can be bought at Walmart . Having the driver pull the bus over in a safe place at the end of their route and checking the bus is also a very good idea so they don't have so far to take a sleeping student home or back to the school . We also had an office person walk by the rear of the buses at the end of each route and make sure the sign is posted on the rear right window of the bus . If it is not posted , the office person is to enter the bus and check for sleeping students , then post the sign .It is required to triple check the bus in our District to prevent this from happening . I am a bus driver and this procedure has been mandatory for all drivers for many years . We now have the button/alarm system in all buses for the past 3 years . It's very useful and also prevents vandalism to the buses because if someone enters the bus and doesn't put the key in the ignition within a certain amout of time , the alarm will go off . This would also go off if there is any motion inside the bus after the bus has been parked and alarm set .Drivers still do the end of route check too . Janesville School District shouuld demand that the alarm is in all buses . They have the right to request this as a part of the contract with any hired company .
