According to the picture there budget is spending .05 million more than it will take in. I so wish I could run my household and personal budget like the local government can. You do not need a degree for business management. Commonsense does work you know. I know some people have it. Must not be a requirement once you are in government.

So there is a lessor price for doing this to a helpless animal that can not talk and point out who does the harm to them. Than the same thing to a person that can point out the guilty.

Understand the reasons. But lets see. so far this year. School going up. Now BTC going up. Wheel tax coming. Water going up. Garbage going up. I have had 4 raises in the last 10 years now. Three at 2% one at 2.5%. Wage freeze the rest of the time. I deal with people applying for jobs. I hear how many say I have been laid off for how long? My budget as with many others keeps getting smaller. We can not spend more than I make. Maybe these others need to learn the budget word also.

I work in town here. I bought a house here to save on the drive from where I was living and the houses were cheaper. More bang for my buck. Boy was I wrong!

I agree with this. Only problem is I call any time I see a able body parked in a handicapped spot. I always check the plates, the dash, and the mirror. To make sure they have the right to park there. Then I call. Most of the time. By the time the police arrive they have already left and at that point there is nothing they can do about it.
On Tax hike seems certain, but how much?

Well at least one person has admitted that they made the wrong choice in a way.
Board President Bill Sodemann's frustration also came through in his email: "Am I in favor of raising taxes? No! We are now forced to, however, because of the decisions that we made on the (union) contracts."
No matter how much you want to blame the governor. They the board and the superintendent Knew what they had to work with and were given fair warning of how things were going to be. Yet they still put them selves into this mess. Now we will have to pay. That being the many that are laid off. Have to pay for there student fees yet and there house payments and now more taxes.

I am confused. I used to separate my recyclables. Then I watched the lady just dump everything I had separated all in together. So since then I just throw it all in the one basket mixed together. So what is really the difference and now I will have to pay more I see?
