Fly_on_the_wall....I don't believe breathalyzers are even admissible in court. Usually the person is taken to the hospital where they get their blood drawn for an accurate BAC.

I was a sophomore in high school. It was 2nd hour (ironically History class) and there was an announcement that all staff needed to turn on their classroom televisions. What we saw was horrifying. For the rest of the day we watched the news and everyone cried. Many people went home, it seemed like almost everybody had a connection to NYC. After school everybody was talking about it, there were very long lines at the gas stations, and some gas stations even had a police presence. Eerie is the best way to describe it. It seemed like nobody knew what was next. I also found it odd that it was such a beautiful day. Like rexkramer said, there was not a cloud in the sky. RIP to anyone lost 9/11/01. America will never forget.

The guidelines for a public defender are based off of the Federal poverty standards of 1987. Sad but true. If he owns property and has a decent job, he will not qualify.

If alcohol were involved, normally they put that in the story. Secondly, they were not both in high school. Amber was 19 and I'm pretty sure she graduated in 2008. She had much to offer this world and now she is gone. I did not know Corey but I'm sure he was a great kid as well. This has affected many people in Monroe and they will truly be missed. This is tragic enough without people making assumptions about things they know nothing about. If it does happen to come out that they were drinking, then it becomes fact and not just a random guess. I'm ashamed that you don't have enough sympathy to know what you should and should not be saying in a news story comment section.
