Not too long ago I was driving north on 43 around Elkhorn and there was a semi ahead of me driving erratically. Fortunately, there wasn't much traffic. When I reached an area with three lanes, I passed him. As I glanced over at the driver, I see this fool reading a book! A hardcover book. A novel perhaps? Needless to say, authorities were alerted. To their credit they responded quickly, averting a possible calamity.

Joker - Wonder why so many accidents? It's more than likely due to people driving like a-holes. Unfortunately, that's been my observation.

localboy - What you probably didn't use your cerebal cortex to figure out is that many chronic alcoholics have a pretty high tolerance to alcohol and for the most part aren't sloppy, slurring their speech, falling down drunks. I've worked with people such as this who have admitted that they use alternate roads after a night of partying so as to decrease their chance of getting pulled over... so, yeah... WOW, huh?

I truly hope this lady recovers from this terrible crash. As I understand it, the fire dept needed to cut the roof of her car off to get to her. Also, while that was a unarguably lame attempt at humor by mrsjoe, some of you really need to give the sanctimoniousness a rest.
