I like to know the exact number of children that it truly affects. I was told that there are students who live right outside of Orfordville that are bused to Newark to get the numbers up in Newark. Yes it’s voluntary for those families, but it doesn’t give an accurate count.

Those numbers must be out of the CWD zone. I saw one deer all weekend and I hunt on private land. This is the worst year I've seen and I've hunted for 28 years

That’s got to be about the dumbest thing I’ve read in long time. If you’re unhappy then use the very wide doors. I hope he isn’t an employer. If he is, I really feel sorry for his employees!!! High unemployment does not guarantee happy employees. It may make a person happy to be employed. Eddie and his supporters need to realize it’s year 2010 it’s not the 50’s anymore. Status quo isn’t good enough Mr. Mielke. You and your employees should be striving to improve your department and not have the “if isn’t broke, don’t fix “mentality.

Why is the Chief of Police the K-9 handler? How much will the dog be used on weekdays during business hours???? What a crock!!! Should have been given to a patrol officer.

Looks to me like they did try other means???? Dammed if they do, dammed if they don’t! If the dog caused an accident and killed innocent people, all you people would be complaining why they didn’t shoot it when they had a chance….

Many of us didn’t have to opportunity to apply at GM. If I remember correctly you had to get an application from someone who worked at GM. I also remember some of these poor employees were selling applications for thousands of dollars and now we need to feel sorry for them. Get real!
