i say why have an ice rink? there is not much to do with it. i say we should turn the ice rink into a janesville music venue. wisconsins music scene has literally depleted due to the fact that they city will not let us teenagers have any type of fun anymore. we need a place where we can have controlled mini-concerts and actually make money for the city AND the place allowing us to play music. since the pipe would not let us play i say we just turn it into a venue. anyone with me?

i also forgot to specify.
i do the sidewalks around the house,any entry way, the corners if you live on a streer corner, and the driveway all for ten bucks.
and trust me its going to cost alot more to get a snowblower and i make it look exactly the same. :D i do not do a half job

well last winter i was appaulled witht he way the city did the roads. everytime i had to get up at 5 in the morning to shovel there was always huge mounds of snow OVER the crosswalk. i not only had to chip away all of the ice on the big blocks of ice. but, throw all of the big almost 50 boulders onto our snow covered grass. and let me tell you that is not fun. and on top of that we had a policeman come to our house and complain about the way we shoveled our walks due to the fact that there was a huge practical, staircase of ice on the corner. the city should do a better job of plowing the streets let alone cleaning up their mess. and if anyone needs there walk shoveled this upcoming winter feel free to contact me. i charge a steady 10 per walkway. email me at nickel_simon@yahoo.com thanks :D

why should they close the streets for a fake parade. sure seems like fun. but why dont they just have kids park on the side of the streets taht day and use their huge new parking lots instead of having to block traffic seeking an alternate route.

poverty and living a life in crime all depends on how the person who is dealing with the poverty issue. like most people they would think that its just a rough time and they will get through it. but for some they stay in it their whole lives. people wonder why most people sell drugs/do them its to get away from the fact that they may be poor or have little or no money. they like to feel like they are on top of the world. i for one would like to feel like im a great marketer or wahtever. but it just all depends on what the persons outlook on life is. and how they deal with it

okay what i think that is if the people who run rotary gardens and they do charge admission, noone besides people who have the money will go. i for one will not go to pay any amount of money to look at some flowers and fish. when i could find all of that in my backyard

i think that having the k-9 units is a good idea. but 10,000 dollars to train one dog,2,000 for a harness and such, and 5,000 just for containment equipment. i mean c'mon thats just ridiculous. there is no need to spend so much money on a dog.that is just such a waste of the taxpayers money.how about we non police officers citizens repo their houses and their rent. because thats about what it costing us.

dear maxdetail,
i dont believe that you should remove all protection from your children because you still have the right to display your opinions in public places such as this. also, it is very nice to actually have people state their thoughts about the controversies in this city and for that i have to applaud you.

and puddssweetie,
im not saying that we should let older men and younger boys date or make it legal for farmer brown to fornicate with his best cow. but all that im trying to say is that the more people can accept the people around them the more we could all get along and actually live with the very very diverse decisions other people make. so for you and maxdetail i think everyone should be willing to help out with the community and accept people for who they are. not what they do in their free time.
