I know nobody wants to hear it just like they didn't years ago but the worst thing that city ever did was turn into big brother and shut down the circut.. Still to this day hear people say they won't go downtown Janesville just because of that, what did they really gain anyway?.. I personally never understood why they shut it down, I heard some lame reasons about some busniess did like it but they way I understood it they weren't even open when people were there.. so I think downtown got what they asked for and now they are ticked about it, they wanted people out, well they are gone,, there you go.. you shoved them to milton where they now have a longer distance between stop lights and a higher speed limit, That was smart! and now me and my friends and family won't go there on the weekends because the traffic sucks there too,, so.. all I will say is.. It's your fault Janesville, You got what you asked for!!

egalindo I am a union memeber and first i have to say again.. I am totaly against what is happening here.. second it is people like you that fall for that crap about those forgein cars being "American" that got us here.. that money all goes back to the home land and our goverments give them all kinds of tax breaks so they don't even pay in at the same rate that our companies do.. and third.. where the heck in Wisconsin do we build any of those cars.. we use to build GM and Chrysler.. but now we don't.. so your arguement about them being "American" has no weight here!!.. Our plants got shut down and that is all that matters.. I am betting you drive one of those cars , so you must justify it to the world why your not part of the problem.. well if that works for ya... Good Luck with that!! but i will say it clear and loud.. IF YOU DRIVE A FORGEIN CAR OR TRUCK AND ONLY SHOP FOR THE CHEAPEST CRAP YOU CAN GET FROM CHINA, YOU HAVE NO SAY IN THIS FIGHT.. ok i was trying to stay out of this fight but i just have to say.. What did you think was gonna happen? I see people posting on here mad about what Walker is doing, As you drive around in your foreign cars and shop at Walmart, taking no consideration of where your products come from, now that the wages are way down and the good jobs are moved out, the tax base is way down..So what is the goverment suppose to do? Nice of you to care now that it effects you,, you should have cared a long time ago!! Seriously, drive into any teachers parking lot and i bet three quarters of the cars in it are foreign!..So alot of this is your own fault.. Don't get me wrong I am totaly against what is going on, but take some ownership in your own demise!!

oh and didn't the police get alot more money in tickets and parking meters when it was running.. and it was just a blast.. I loved going down there, I made some life long friends that i would have never met other wise, people came from two and three counties away every weekend just for that, and they all bought gas and food, I remember going to see a movie.. long gone.. so sad, what do kids realy have these days?
