My most recent fee renewing my 2-year Wisconsin Auctioneer licence was $174.00. We also have to take so called Continuing Education classes or pay to take a State exam to renew our licence every two years in order to remain in Business. Plus you have the cost of hotel rooms and travel to and from theese classes. We barely can make ends meet as it is. The State of Wisconsin wants to live high out of our pockets. What are the service people supposed to do? It is either pay the price or get thrown under a bus. Should we try to pass the additional cost to be in business onto our customers?

It is ashame that the Gazette decided to publish this negative story about a great man. They could have chose to do an article on some of this mans virtues, however that would have required more time & effort than copying a story from the Associated Press. I have heard that it is dirty laundry sells newspapers.

Why should it make any differnce when the business structure is set-up as a for profit or a not for profit?
I believe the real issue here is that the city fathers want a piece of the $$$ action.
Goodwill must be doing very well considering all of the big New stores and advertising regularly on Televission. I wonder what the saleries of the upper management at Goodwill looks like? The retail prices at Goodwill are so high at that I can seldom afford to buy things that I need.
I do not think that theese red boxes are hurting anyone. It is better to recycle this clothing rather than to have it end up in the landfills. Allthow, then the garbage haulers and the landfills will not be making any money with handling it.
