This is awesome! I agree with the rules and hope they are all fully enforced so I can feel good and safe about my middle schooler attending. I would also be willing to help volunteer. Janesville really needs this positive progress in our area! Way to go Donte :-)

Mrs. Pajerski has been a HUGE assest to Lincoln Elementary - I think she could have given Lincoln the "spark" that it really needs to get ahead of the game. We will wish the best for anyone brought into Lincoln and keep an open mind... but Mrs. P would have been AWESOME!!! I hope the new principal can bring some new, positive changes.

There is nothing wrong with asking the Fed to uphold an already exisiting law. The AZ law takes from the federal law and is simply trying to uphold law the Obama administration has already admitted it would not enforce.

On Janesville schools might increase class sizes

Ok, I have really tried to be patient with Janesville and the School District decisions and all of the obsticles that need to be overcome, but this is another absolutely ridiculous idea! If they pass this it will be the nail in the coffin for me. We have been considering making the move out of Janesville anyway. It used to be a great place to raise a family, and it keeps getting worse and worse. They are never going to get people to move to Janesville to rebuild it, there is no kind of a draw for anyone. Yes, we know it will take years to rebuild Janesville into the city we would like to see it be again, but I won't let my kids pay the price in the meantime. Janesville has many great teachers and this will burn out all the good ones we have left in the high schools too. Not only is it bad for the kids, it's bad for the teachers.
