On Holiday food drive effort more than $30,000 behind
We just turned in our bags of hope to the school today. They were due today at our school, so hopefully there will be a good turnout of last minute donations.

On J.D. Byrider office opening in Janesville
And why can't they use one of Janesville's old empty car lots? Why are letting them build a new one that will one be another empty building in this town when, by the sounds of things, they will likely go out of business.

Remember, if you report suspected abuse, be sure to follow up and make sure the problem was taken care of. Don't just report and forget. Call and find out the status!!! In the Sandusky case, there were numerous times the school was notified...The assistant coach who saw Sandusky with a child in the shower, the parent who was concerned because her child came home with wet hair, Paterno who also notified the board. So many missed opportunities to get this sicko before he got to more kids.
On New method of surgery leaves patients virtually scar free
10 days till your back to work with this machine? I had mine taken out laproscopically on a Thursday and was back to work on Monday. Also, my scars are so faded that you can't even tell there were four incisions. Why don't they spend the money on a 3-D Tomosynthesis breast mammography machine. It would be much more worth the money.
On Walker, Barrett to meet in final debate
Thanks Jasper and starbuck. I get one from each side. I agree with both, which is probably attributing to my indecisivness:First, I am willing to pay higher taxes if it means my children will get a better education. However, I do think that there are other places money could be cut to help with minimizing the increase in taxes. I also think teachers deserve every penny they get since they have to deal with A LOT, especially the kids from disconnected families.
Second, I agree that public employees should pay a portion of their pensions and healthcare. I think unions drain money from companies and should be done away with in most cases.
So still, no one can direct me to a website with pure facts. It makes me think most people will vote on opinions and media speculation. Not good.
I am one of the undecided. I can't seem to find any facts relating to either candidate. The only thing I see is opinions and blogs. I can't count on those to make my decision. If anyone has any legit FACT based websites to suggest, please share so that I can make my decision. Otherwise, I will not be at the poles on Tuesday. I am most concerned with education.
