On Sidewalks? Here we go again

Posted on April 30 at 8:56 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

I do not currently have a sidewalk at my residence, but I think that the city should require sidewalks everywhere. It is a city and people should not have to walk in the street. Safety is the main issue here.

Was it Republicans who complained about the expense of recall elections? When they force primaries doesn't that raise the expenses? They can't have it both ways.

On Should WIAA move basketball tournaments to Green Bay?

Posted on January 24 at 9:48 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

This tournament in Green Bay just won't be the same. I've been to the Resch Center for the state volleyball tournament and it is a fine facility, but it just wouldn't have the same flavor as a tournament on the UW campus. At UW fans can walk to eating places and campus facilities, but this isn't a possibility at the Resch. Also, Madison businesses would lose a lot of money to Green Bay. Take it from me, the drive from Janesville to GB is a lot longer than Madtown.
