WOW, after reading these profound comments, it is no wonder Janesville is going down the toilet. We have some really intelligent living here.
Weeders; show me one place in the world where it is legal and show me the statistics on crime, poverty, and jobless rates. The only potheads I know never show up for work and could care less about improving anyone's life, let alone theirs!

Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. I just wish that the more fortunate people would help the less fortunate; and I know many do and I know that you do to. It is just a shame that in such trying times when Rotary Gardens is about to charge fees, fuel prices are going up, food prices are going up, and people are losing jobs, that we have to start charging higher sports fees. Sports keeps kids out of trouble, teaches them teamwork, provides exercise, and gives them a sense of HOPE. The less fortunate get farther behind and lose out on certain "privileges". I guess times are changing and we'll just have to accept that fact.

Wow maddman, you, an adult, making a good wage, pay for your fun; you da man! And you payed to play sports when you were in school as a kid; in the "real" world, or wasn't it real back then? Oh, that's right "times have changed" and people now believe that if they don't have kids in school or involved in sports, they should not have to help. Maybe we should back charge anyone who has ever played sports in Janesville! That would raise more than enough money. You must live in a cave if you think that ALL families can afford to pay that amount of money and that there are no kids out there working for money? Let me know where you live so I can send some over to shovel your sidewalks for $300.
