I shouldnt complain because if all you morons are bashing on me, you are leaving someone else alone...at least for today. Then again. Its probably fustration, becausd the gazette blocks post comments from everything else, so go ahead. Im glad I stayed home to help you vent. Me and my cushy car in the garage are safe and sound, and for those of you that cant read correctly I DID check the weather channel before I went to bed as I do every night, and as of 8 p.m. there was nothing!!

you are missing the point here folks...First off, I watch the weather channel every night before bed and there was NO indication of this. and, to back up my claim, it was stated this morning on the weather channel that it was a SUDDEN BURST, which means nobody knew last night. I watch the weather because i have a long drive. You want to vent on someone do so to the morons who tailgate in this crap, or cant put their phones down to drive attentively. I DID stick my head out the door, and that is when I turned to the paper to check the ROAD CONDITIONS, as what it is here in rural area may be different in city, and so on (better or worse) And I went to 511 which is a map of road conditions. I DID MY HOMEWORK before heading out the door. My point is I SHOULD BE ABLE TO TURN TO MY HOMETOWN PAPER for important news...not have to waste time channel surfing.

I agree with Sigma... I got up at 430 to leave for work and seen it appeared icy. i clicked onto the gazette to see if anything was posted. Nothing. I made it three blocks before winding up in ditch. And maybe that poor girl who had a traffic light laying across her car could have had some warning IF something would have been in paper.

What alot of people are forgetting here is DNA...which has proven that SOME people who said they were innocent WERE innocent. I do not know if DNA was available in this situation. The shoe on the other foot theory...you can say what if so and so raped your daughter or did this or that, but again, WHAT IF YOU WERE ACCUSED....Mr. Smith seen you there, well, maybe it looked like you...key word LOOKED like you. My point is there is no right or wrong to this but try to keep an open mind to BOTH sides and the WHAT IF the man was telling the truth, for after all, DNA has proven there are innocent people incarcerated.
