A lot of my leftovers go outside in the back yard ( unless it's chocolate or has bones in it. ) I even shake out the crumbs at the bottom of the potato chip bag. I have never seen anything still out there the next morning. Better to feed something than toss it away. I take frozen pizzas and cut 'em in half and cook 'em half at a time. Where there's a tight budget, there's a way. :)

Money is money, and I'm not gonna pass it by. All I know is those trips to the bank to cash in all that loose change makes me smile as they hand me greenbacks in return ( and usually more change to start all over again. ) Besides, that lone & solitary dime in the dirt could be as old as that dirt and worth something. You never know!

I liked "Melancholia " until I got my Charter bill and found out that I'd been charged 9.99 to rent it. No idea why this movie cost so much more than the regular rental... it wasn't dirty. The first half dragged but the second half is worth the first.

What good are the " comments " section on this website if one can't comment on half the stories? ( your Rock County suicide article is one example.) Are there really that many idiots out there who have to write snide, uneducated and moronic comments that you can't even leave the function open? That is very sad. This particular topic could have opened up some very intense and lively debates.

That is just so sad. I have a stray who comes to my door just begging for food and attention and I already have three cats. I am facing a nasty divorce and already know I am facing an uphill battle trying to find a place for myself and my " three boys ". Breaks my heart that all I can do is feed him and put a box out for him to sleep in and that in a few months, when I am gone from here, he will possibly have no one. Beautiful long-haired adult kitty. ( I've seen no flyers nor did the police have any callers saying they were missing him ). But I know I can't call the nearest shelter because they're over capacity already. Wish I could do more.
