Every landlord in the UW area takes advantage of college kids(and their parents). My son goes to UW Whitewater and last year he and 3 other guys paid a total of 4685.00 EACH for a house that was old and disgusting and this was for half the house so the landlord was getting the same amount from the other half of the house. When my son went looking for a new place this spring for the upcoming school year the first thing he checked for was that the floors were level!!!! LOL

How about Rock County Appliance? I went there after my new Kenmore dryer died after 3 years and bought a Speed Queen which was is made in Racine WI with a 3 year guarantee and a 10 year guarantee on the drum. Nothing fancy but it does the job.

Jan was outstanding with the help she gave us when my son started UWW in 2007. And every year she is there for him with his paperwork.

I totally agree with Joan. This weekend I had neighbors in front and on the side burning leaves... IN THE CITY AT THAT!!!!!
With the leaf burning neighbors and the neighbors that do not pick up their dog waste in their yard, it is horrible being outside my house. Leaf burning should be banned period.
