I firmly support the recall effort! Many of our educators already paid for their healtcare coverage and 401K. Many were willing to increase their contributions in exchange for keeping their collective bargaining rights. Bargaining rights include class sizes and working hours - not just pay. I think it's terrible that Gov Walker removed collective bargaining rights of our hard-working educators.
In the future, Wisconsin may be "open for business" but WI will lack educated people to work. Wisconsin's reputation for great public schools will be long gone unless we remove Gov. Walker and restore funding to our schools!

Nicely said, YADA! I'm with you 100%! Wisconsin's education system isn't perfect but it will falter with Walker's disinterest in education. We have to keep our children in mind as the school year progresses - keep supporting our kids, their teachers, support staff & other parents!! RECALL WALKER!!!

We watch more network tv because we refuse to pay for cable! We haven't had a cable bill in over 3 years and love it! We watch "good" tv series courtesy of Netflix where we can watch them on our schedule without commercials. We also watch other cable series online.

I'm excited to see Annie with my older daughter on the "pay what you can" night! Thanks to JPAC for offering us an opportunity to see the show when we cannot afford an expensive night out at the theater!

Seriously, fix the Farmer's Market! I don't understand why vendors should be limited. My family enjoys heading to the market and getting LOCAL food. I don't see why we cannot have more choices. Maybe Janesville will have some business-minded people step up and help. Thank you to those on the board who have stuck it out!

What a disappointment! I was in favor of this and looking forward to collecting my own fresh eggs. As a former farm-girl, I was hoping that Janesville was going to be open to this idea. Janesville missed a great opportunity here. I just don't understand why Janesville is opposed to change! Here's a news flash - we live in a farming community! Thanks to all the supporters - hope this is brought up again. Well said, granpa and ChickenWhisperer.

Glad the City Council is reinstating the compost site's hours. I was wondering where I was going to put all of my yard waste after working hard all week!

Great job, MSD!! Today's kids will be using technology like this in college so why not give them a taste of it now!! I can only hope that this idea will grow on parents and they will be more accepting! Way to go, teachers!!
