Yes...even I who do not like our current Presidents politics...must repect the man for his accomplishments, and his office. That is the way I was taught, and certainly one of the reasons I served my country. I also take my hat off at when the national anthem plays, and get teary eyed at a fly over or a color guard. Let me tell you those reunions with soldiers and their kids....my god man, I am a giant baby they get me everytime. I may choose not to support his politics, but the office, that goes without saying and should be the same for all of us. He is our leader and was voted into his position by our pears. Thats good enough for me.

This article is ridiculous...why not ask they same of your fealess President..who has destroyed the economy and is stopping you from working...Walker is trying to get business into the state so we all can benefit. GM left now you will have to realize what the rest of the world earns not over inflated benefit packages and stupid hourly wages. Thats why they left they could nopt afford to stay. Look localy at your city counsil, what have they done? They are not working to attract business to Janesville. They are not pushing to save this city from the brink of hell. They worry about parks and skate rinks...who the hell cares get jobs into the community...yet once again the Dems hold some BS rally to blame Walker. You worry about a choir instructor...REALLY...who is going to pay for him...no business no jobs no worry about a choir...you wont need it. Now when times are good, great put it on the budget and lets see what can be worked out...but now...I think you people need to quit chasing the Govenor and look locally first. What has your city done for you, your county look at local politics and what have they done to put you in a better situation. The Govenor is trying to balance a budget that is trying to be fueled by decreasing assetts. It has to come from somewhere, and I find it humorous that some people who are not paying taxes etc. find the time to go and have a rally when they shoud be looking for work, or better yet getting local and takeing some responsibility on a local level to try and climb out of the ooze that has become Janesville. People we need to take ownership of our local goverment before we can move on to the state level, and then on to the federal level...I say locally, we suck. We are not doing all we can to attract people to this town and who want to move their companies to this town...and with our local attitudes like this, in this story...can we actually blame them. With a weak at best local goverment, and a poor attitude of our local citizens, who really want something for nothing and who show themselves with hand open in the press whineing about a state goverment, when they cannt even get their own local goverment in order. Blame is a disease that needs to be healed, before it becomes an epidemic. This town needs an enima in the worst possible way. The citizens of Rock county need first to make the local goverment accountable, then move forward.

If in fact Haakenson or Daniels get voted in then its the same old good ole boys in Janesville...now I am not saying thats bad...just what it is. I think we need a little more progressive goverment in Janesville, what worked before is nolonger possible and we need to progress. I think Bates was a great hire...now who can sit with him on the bench. I think its here, just need to hear more from them.
