I completely agree with randomguy. I for one will also be signing my family up for a membership. Give the YMCA's new aquatic center a chance before bashing what you dont know. People have been working very hard to get this new facility up and working. You should be grateful that they are taking the oppurtunity to upgrade to something that will help more people in the long run. The YMCA is a family based facility, so they must do whatever they can to please the majority of the people that come to the YMCA.

On JEA, board reach deal

As a senior in the janesville school district I can tell you from my experiences this year that as students we were GREATLY effected by what the teachers have been doing this year. Senior year is suppose to be the best year of high school but for me it has been disappointing. I was really excited to participate in National Honor Society with all the great activities they have done in the past. Because we couldn't meet outside of school hours our activities have been extremely limited as a club. I also am involved in other clubs in our school that ceased to meet this year. So instead of having the great eventful senior year we should have gotten, we were jipped of all our great experiences because of the way the teachers had to handle the matter of their contract. I do support the teachers and what they did to come to an agreement but I am disappointed in the fact that I missed out on what is suppose to be some of the best times in high school. I am disappointed in the adults that comment on these articles and the assumptions they make about what is really going on in our schools at this time. Please learn the facts before you make outrageous assumptions.
