My dad never let me wear orange, ever. As a defiant teenager, I found a blaze orange hunter's cap and proceeded to tramp around in the woods with a stick that looked like a rifle.

Did anyone consider that what Brett meant by the Vikings being the most physically talented team is that they are really talented, physically speaking? Just my $0.02. Thanks and keep packing!
On Vanishing Halloween Candy: Is the Switch Witch to Blame?

These are all very interesting ideas. One solution to consider that we find very practical is that we just end up recycling most of the candies for use next Halloween. That way no one eats too much and nothing goes to waste. I like the idea of donations as well, but I'm not sure that impoverished people really need more candy. What they need are high nutrition content foods, like beans and rice, for example. Thanks for reading this and please keep the discussion going!

On Police programs

From what I know of the greater Janesville area, I think that the Tavern Defense class is probably the #1 priority, especially as we head into the winter season.
Street Cop Spanish also seems well thought out. What if a policeman was in the process of arresting some spanish dude and the guy said:
"oficial soy inocente" .. what does he do then?
Keep it up Gazette! good stuff.
