Question, will they need additional bailout money to fund the plant reopening?

On Wis. gun lovers lay out case for concealed carry

Honorfirst-

Protect yourself from what? Perhaps I'm not aware of the current gun problem, if there is one to what extent, in Janesville. Not to mention Wisconsin. The only thing people will need protection from is more concealed carriers.

hdonlybob-

Proper training and education you say, like what is required for a driver's license? No education/licensure is foolproof, and can easily be passed by the standard but not adhered to once the individual is finished with the training. I know there's no problem with bad drivers all around us.

ajl - It is true I was unable to see them face to face and yes I did "know" them, I had classes with Cody and Chad. You would be surprised sometimes how one can seem candid beyond all belief and it fades quicker than you thought possible. If they don't drink again good for them, they shouldn't have in the first place. If they don't drink again then I am wrong, but I certainly won't commend them if they stop drinking because any negativity caused by it upon them was brought on by their own choice to start involving alcohol in their lives.

ajl1212 - I knew these kids, as I mentioned before, so I'm skeptical when I hear them say they're not going to drink anymore. What is said now does not always continue over to what is done later.

ajl1212 - Of course no one would talk trash if these boys were to not make it. Of course no one wants them, or their families, to undergo that pain. I understand that you are their friend and want to defend them but I can guarantee you if my best friend was out drunk driving and ended up like this I would be right there to knock him down a peg the second he was better. Ferocious loyalty is an admirable quality, just be careful with whom you entrust it. Those who act erratically clearly have little regard for those around them. If you can't acknowledge what they did was dumb and dangerous then so be it.

To haze08 - First of all, please for our sake use proper grammar, I can barely make out what your point is as it stands. You clearly are just defending all of these kids because they are your friends, and nobody here is "condem"-ing anybody. You point fingers and try to call them bible thumpers and act unjustly aggressive. You honestly want to look any person in the face and say what they did that night was OK? Then go for it, under-age drinking is safe, drunk driving is fine, we must excuse this because they're just kids and they're having fun. Your rationale is skewed. The "old people", one of whom I am not, are not "rippin" on anyone. If you can't plainly see that what they did was wrong then your thought process is diluted beyond repair. Teenagers drinking - present or past, is not a safe idea. I just graduated Parker recently so you can't play the "I don't know who those kids are" card on me. I have seen Cody alone numerous times yelling at teachers, administrators, or students. He is a volatile young child. I'm not saying at all that I don't care what has happened to the kids, any accident of this caliber is cause for concern. I hope they recover, but aside from that their actions are inexcusable.

support_local_racing - I feel as though you accurately displayed some points I couldn't. Thank you, very excellent point. These students' selfish actions are not something to be taken lightly, as they probably believe they should.

Having read all of the previous comments, it is still surprising to me how the high school students attempting to defend these fools hsve not realized they do not have a leg on which to stand.

haze08 - "really how can you sit here and critizie one god for sakin accident? and to be completely honest do any of you who are talkin crap know any of these kids?" I won't go the route of saying how ridiculous you sound in your error ridden posts, but take heed of it. The people who are "critizie"-ing the kids are people who have realized that getting into a car to drive drunk, to an under-age party, is possibly the most foolish decision they could have made. We aren't "talkin crap", they put this on themselves when they drove DRUNK and CRASHED their own car. If you want to blame someone for slander blame the Gazette, who is just reporting what they know. The general public is just realizing how stupid the decision that these kids made that night was. But perhaps we are all in the wrong, driving drunk is safe, under-age parties are okay, and inattentive parents are just the standard now. I'm sorry we don't let you teens forget your mistakes, perhaps we should just overlook the fact they drove drunk and crashed in a residential neighborhood and could've killed someone. My apologies, I forgive them.

DrTalk I assure you I am not persecuting you. You seem angry that I merely gave my input. You chose to become a Christian to believe in something bigger, I respect that. I am merely noting that Christians certainly do like to stray from "loving their neighbor as themselves" an awful lot. Gay, straight or otherwise what you are saying is that these people don't deserve to be happy. If marriage will make them happy you will deny them that? Intolerance of gays is wrong. Everyone deserves to be loved, and not judged, so we should treat gay people like everyone else. I understand asking for everyone to get along is a lot though.

"You make some excellent point about homosexuality being a choice"

To DrTalk, and the rest of you who think this, you may want to further investigate. I certainly am not convinced being gay is entirely a choice, although certain aspects of it can be. Although perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps gay people CHOOSE to be gay so they can be discriminated against, perhaps gay people CHOOSE to be gay so they are hated by others, and perhaps gay people CHOOSE to be gay so they can be denied basic rights like marriage, a civil union whatever you want to name it. Open your eyes and your mind. "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." Mohandas Gandhi

In no way am I attacking you, or the Christian faith, I am merely telling you what really happens. You preach love, now practice it.
