oh please, as if you didn't know gm was closing. i sold my house in may of 06 and everyone thought i was jumping ahead for no reason. "they'll never close janesville" no realtor, no hassles, no problems, got 100,000.00 more than I paid for the house too. you were told and told and told to bail out. move on,,,,gm was soon done here. so why the complaining about your house and your taxes. you sure could have transfered. oh yes you could have. thats what is so difficult to understand. everyone in the entire plant could have transfered regardless of your situation, family ties, or lazy thinking. so no sympathy at all for you. they offer you a job and you refused?????? come on,,,,your ridiculous to whine now and deserve any setbacks coming your way for such a selfish selfish decision. you could have still been rollin in the money. the lake orion plant is nothing but transfer people and they work endless hours. friend works first shift there and commutes 45 minutes daily......but she still has a job and she will retire.....just because she transfered.

sunny 74 today, hung the wreath today, shorts, tee shirt and sandles!!!! 10 day forecast looks the same!!! you should move out of the north... it is beautiful in the warmer climate!!! cheaper taxes too...........wouldn't return to janesville for nothing on this earth.

hot and 72 today,, sunny tomarrow 75 degrees. ahh....shorts, tee shirt, sunglasses, sandels, move to a warmer climate, you'll feel better, you'll get outside more often, your plants don't freeze, your car always starts, you can swim 11 months out of the year and the sunshines 355 days a year. no hurricanes either. NO RIDICULOUS WISCONSIN TAXES EITHER. ahhh.........going swimming have fun freezin...!!!

"to much will be lost" what, your house? big freakin deal, get another one.you act like the plant closing was never an option. i sold my house in 2006 cause i saw this coming and told others to do the same..others meaning people like your husband. yeah now your stuck...thats what you think, how the heck ya gonna make a house payment, without his income? insurance? child support, retirement, college and on and on. HE SHOULD HAVE JUMPED LONG AGO. GM OFFERED TRANSFERS FOR 8 YEARS...YOU AND ALL THE EX'S COULD HAVE MANAGED SOMETHING OUT. SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE.you talk like there are no other options than the one your in. as far as your daughter having scars well there are laws that govern visitation and he/you have every right to exercise them. your full of excuses and pity. sorry about your selfishness. if your husband really wanted the income and the retirement he would suck up and move on to support all of them and their selfish unrealistic demands. pity your lifestyle and your choices. today is 77 and sunny, windows open and the grill warmin up!

the writing has been on the wall for years. you probably should have moved away when the opportunities were there. I suppose it will take until the building is imploded before the reality sets in that there is no more "gm in janesville".
