the kid and ms-sassy: I concede that p[ot may not be bad for you, but I have one question. If you have kids do you smoke it around or with them? I mean you both are saying it's good for you and it does no health risk, so I am guessing that you use pot as a family bonding activity. If you aren't buying it and sharing it with your kids why not? You say it should be legal, because it isn't harmful as alchol or cigarettes, atleast thats what you all are saying.

ms_sassy_wi I just looked on line and there are over 150,000 people who enter drug rehabs for addiction to marijuana each year. There are forums to help people who are addicted to pot, so it makes me wonder how anyone can say cocaine is addictive and pot isn't when the truth is they are both addictive drugs. True cocaine is worst, but they are finding that people who smoke one joint a day run a 40 percent chance of developing mental health problem. They have also found that pot has more cancer causing agent then cigarettes. That is the facts and to say one should be legal and the other not is ridiculous. Either both should be legal or both illegal. I vote for illegal. One last fact people who use the hard drugs like coke were people who smoked pot and moved to harder drugs because they wanted a bigger buzz so to speak.

Pot should be illegal and coke not. The arguement that cocaine is addictive and pot isn't? Alchol and cigarettes aren't addictive either. LOL.

curtaincall Bush isn't the cause for all the problems. It's both the democrats and republicans. They can't get along and are to busy worrying about there agenda to do what is good for the American people. Yes Bish and the republicans got us into a war. Clinton and the democrats put us in the crappy ecomony with NAFTA and blocking drilling for oil in Alaska and other place here in the US. So instead of blaming one man look at the parties, they both have equal blame. When its time to vote, don't vote the party actually vote for the person you believe has the best chance to work with both parties and lead us out of the economy crap and get us out of the war without making us look like idiots.

Hoolynpat I am curious how you no they are illegal. I have read this article over and over and no where do I see the words say they are illegal. Then again does it really matter if they are legal or illegal. What matters is if they are guilty the are punished accordingly.

Sorry localboy I didn't know that not speaking english automatically made you a bad person. By your thinking since my wife didn't speak english when we met and not much when we married that means she was illegal. In truth 100,000 thousands come her legally each year not knowing how to speak english and there are millions here illegally that do speak english, thus the language you speak has no bearing on the case.

Jsntm Doyle built the GM road. I thought we the taxpayers did. I didn't know Doyle paid for it out of his own pocket. That remember what history has taught us. Dems raise taxes and make it harder for business to do business, Repubs lower taxes so Businesses will re-invest and create more jobs. I'm not saying one party is better than another, I vote both based on who has the policies I agree with and if you can't see all Doyle is doing now is blowing smoke up our (fill in) then there is a blind school here in town you may want to check out.
