--->Four deer were found dead along a snowmobile trail south of Waupaca on Jan. 10. A fifth deer had to be euthanized.<---
JANUARY 10!!!! There is no deer season open at this time of year anywhere in the state!!!! So it's impossible for him to be hunting deer! What, all he had to say was that he was hunting and that's it? And, if I remember right this happened around 3-4 in the morning. Hunting hours are 1/2 before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset. What a joke! They better nail this guy with something, because the next time it might not be deer he's running down!

Also eligible is the assembly plant in Janesville, Wisconsin, which GM reclassified as “idled” from “closed” in its newly amended United Auto Workers contract, said Tim Lee, North America vice president of manufacturing, in a conference call today.
GM intends to pick the winning factory for the new model “within weeks, not months,” Lee said.

beeferer-I worked down at the plant for 8 years, although GM wasn't the only placed I worked in my life. I started out in the Marine Corps, served 8 years. Try raising a family on Privates pay, then getting sent off to foreign lands for months at a time, it wasn't easy. Then working at a small company making 10 bucks an hour for 4 years after that. I was grateful every day I worked at GM, And it wasn't easy work down there either. So yeah I guess your right, I don't know what it's like to work in the real world, and I'm no better than anyone else.

What is this? A sewing circle? The law of the land spoke, Y'all need to get over it. I remember way back when this all started, all the support this town had for these men. There were signs in almost every yard. I think the majority of this town supports these men than a few of you whiners! Peace

All I gotta say to all you naysayers about the paid firefighters, is that if it was your job on the line you'd be singing a different tune! Peace

There is no mention in this story of how we got this big mess to deal with in the first place. European ships that come over here and dump their ballasts in our lakes. Shouldn't the state go after them to help clean up the mess? I clean my boat off every time I take it out, and it is something everyone should be aware of. But, do people really need to be fined because of this?
