On Janesville bakery outlet to close doors

li713 ~ so laymen terms wrote; thank you. :) You made complete sense. I would also like to add to your explanation. As little as 20 years ago, hostess was kind of like a 'mom and pop' store. It was comfortable and well known to many for a very long time, and pretty original. Many things contribute to the demise of nationally known company, namely, bad management as you stated. Now with the economy the way it is, luxuries are cut, and hostess products are in my mind, a luxury, and when allowed to have a small luxury, there are MANY alternatives at a MUCH cheaper price, such as little debbie as you said, that mimics the hostess brand. When Hostess didn't have competition and very LOYAL customers from the warm fuzzies brought on by growing up with these yummies, it didn't matter if gas was high, or whatever... people were still going to buy. But, now that there are alternatives and that 'generation' that was brought up on hostess, is diminishing along with the brand and the amount of money in their pocketbooks. I am not even sure if they had better management at this point if they can save themselves... this is probably the beginning of the real end. I have NEVER personally went to the grocery store and purchased full priced hostess items, as an adult or a child, being it was never in our budget. BUT, this discount store made it possible for my family to enjoy ho ho's at an affordable price. SO, maybe, being the discount stores are and were a success, except for this one being a victim of the WHOLE Hostess picture, Hostess should reconsider the amount of products offered, cut back on less popular items, and reduce the costs of their products. Costs less... sell more.... make more. There are some items that people can only get that 'feel good' from hostess such as the Suzy q, Twinkies, ho ho's and ding dongs. The others, are pretty general and easily duplicated. I do believe that they should be looking at downsizing, and they could very well save a company that has been around forever from becoming extinct. :(

I would also like to add; it is only the beginning of the worst. Before any of us judge, bypass this article or think it will never happen to us, please think again, and consider deeply about helping/giving what you can of your time to these men/people. Many of us are going to wake up one morning and reality is going to be SO HUGE that we're not even going to have a bank to go to... to 'ask' for money, because even those who "THINK" they have money, only have money without any value behind it because of the momentous printing of 'fake' money... so, this could and will BE MANY of us/you. And I applaud those who are willing to ask for help, and give of themselves what they can... <3 hugs and prayers to you all, and all of those in the future who will be thankful for these places as well... and shame on any family that would be embarrassed of someone with 'issues' and fallen on hard times; who they should be embarrassed of is themselves..

All I have to say is, coodos for acknowledging you have a 'problem', although I wouldn't label it. :) Your a wonderful person, will figure out exactly what you need to do, and will find and follow your PERFECT path that was made specifically for you! Don't be ashamed of who you are, have been or haven't been; your plan is perfect, and all the pain and pavement you've beaten are all part of who your meant to be, and I tell you what, if I needed someone to talk to about hard times, and how to handle them, you'd be my first choice! Empathy is the gold of the soul! <3

On Sarah Strunz reaches out to Orfordville through library, volunteering

Sarah is the absolute best! I remember when she first started, and the one thing she did was changed the wallpaper and paint in the front of the library, and rearranged some things, and that little bit of creativity made the Library feel COMPLETELY different; warm and welcoming! My 8 year old has known her his whole life, and loves her as well! She truly is a gem, and I am so thrilled to see her acknowledged among people who count! Keep it up Sarah, you truly are a blessing and a gift from God to many! xoxo

YOU KILL.....agreed. BUT, not a single soul in my family would ever even think of buying a foreign vehicle, my father retired from GM as did my grandpa, and he witnessed the blood sweat and tears of the union rights way back when. Too many feel entitled, and stopped or never stood up for their gifts from our forefathers, and look at us know; the bystander effect is purely unexceptionable!!!! And then we got some do gooders that still think their focus should be placed on third world countries....when our own nation needs EMERGENCY treatment; those people life like they do because it's their culture, they may look all sad and such, but when you got all these missionaries with cameras in your face trying to tell you how and what God to worship...you'd look a bit confused and scared too! Not understanding a freaking word, and we all know what a little tiny mistake in translation can do....just think about the news anchors relaying messages before they Vietnam war...one word, translated wrong, started a war that should have never been. I sometimes feel as if I am falsely secure because I live in the middle of nowhere, and think we are just fine as long as we take care of our land and crops and eat off our land, and often need to remind myself that I am not omitted from these issues; it is so easy to get caught up in our own safety circle that we end up being bystanders without even realizing it.

Time to finally get it. Communism has been in control for quite some time, there is just enough force now, that it's being shoved in the faces of people who don't get it yet. May as well just be red! It's only getting worse. America hasn't been "AMERICA" for decades.....and if we believe that we are 'free' and the national anthem means anything anymore to the suits, then we are just plain ignorant or hopeful if you will. Good luck to us all.
