The pritchards need to get their story straight and stick to one verison of it. They don't know what happen because they wern't watching their 4 year-old. Who in there right mind leaves a 4 year-old unattended in a pool no matter how deep it is, or who tells a 4 year-old to stay put. The pool doesn't need to be changed, the parents need a lesson in pool safty and a lesson on how to watch their kid!

On Parents of near-drowned boy ask city for pool upgrades

It should be Kudos to Kevin Kueng, who found the boy, Justin Bowen, the volunteer firefighter/first responder, and Kim Burns, the RN that helpped out. Don't blame the lifeguards, just let this be a lesson to watch your kids a little closer.

It should be Kudos to the volunteer firefighter, he isn't a EMT. Also Kudos to the guy that found the boy and the RN that helped. Let this be a lesson to parents to keep a closer eye on your kids.

Here they go again! This women has changed her stoy of what happen about 4 times now. Quit pushing the blam on someone and just say I made a mistake and lost track of my boy, I am thankful he is alive. Correction it wasn't an EMT, it was a volunteer firefighter.

On Edgerton voters approve city hall referendum

The highway 59 project will be paid off soon and the city hall project will be replacing that debt, taxes won't be going up. Just because it has a $1.2 million price tag doesn't mean that is what the city will be spending, that is the most they can spend. There is so much stimulus money out there that they can get to help pay for some of this. This was a great move for Edgerton. If you didn't get a chance to go take a tour of the building, stop in and just take a look of the working conditions down there.

“The ambulance service has had to double full-time staff in Edgerton from two to four over the past year because it’s losing volunteer EMTs, he said.”
Has anybody ever asked why they are loosing their volunteers? Maybe it is because the crappy way they are getting treated! Bring the EMS back in house and you will get your volunteer EMS back, because 1) they love being on EMS and 2) they won’t have to put up with the BS from Curtis. The district needs to look into expanding the building and bringing the EMS back.

Where in the article does it mention anything about Brian or Ryan wanting to be full time??? I do believe Demrow has a full-time job working for the city and Beckwith runs his own business. I think the point Demrow was getting at in the article is that he is stick of doing the administration side of things and they want to get 2 people in there to run the business side of things.
