Were you around 20 years ago when Mr Evans was a State Cop? He was elected Chief of the Rescue Squad. There was a fight between him & the Township & Village about how it would be run. He started his own squad took all the files from the Fire Dept office. Even took the titles for the vehicles to the DOT & got them changed to the new name,
When the dust settled everything went back to the Village & Township. He could be on the Rescue Squad, but never be an officer.
Don’t get me wrong I know & like John but you have to be careful

Could someone explain this to me (without a rant). DeVoy has done nothing wrong yet he is pushing for this settlement that does nothing but beat him up. If he waits a couple of weeks, is reinstated and sues the Village for lawyer fees he is in great shape . But no he asking to lose 30 days pay, can not sue & have most of his power taken away. Makes no sense to me, but it is Darien
