I think its a great idea for first time offenders, especially those who have recently been discharged.
From a purely pragmatic sense I bet it saves money in the long run. Its a lot cheaper to treat than incarcerate.

A very sad story all around. I feel bad for all parties. Im sure the police thought they were dealing with a highly stressed animal which may have attacked someone already. I bet they feel bad about it. There ought to be better plans in place, perhaps outfit animal control with tranq dart guns? It also is a good reminder to house our pets appropriatey, this poor guy was originally injured breaking out of his house, something I am sure the owners never imagined. We need to house our pets somewhere they wont get so stressed they break out of a window like that.

Somebody ought to stand out side the Job Center and collect the signatures of more than 1,500 people who desperately need any job, much less one that pays that well. I live relatively close to the site and I am all for it. Ciy council...were watching. This is NOT the time to be anti-buisness in Janesville.

I have no problem with 13 year olds and bus drivers learning the hard way that little girls have daddies and if you mess with them you are messing with him. If it was my 13yo on that bus he yelled at I would shake his hand and ground the brat for the rest of eternity.

In my eleven months of unemployment I lost nearly 40lbs. Lucklly the place where I wokr has a fitness center so Im seriously working to keep it off (and shed much more) now that Im deskbound 8 hours a day again.

Look around folks. When GM packed it in, a awful lot of union political support did also. This district is a lot less dominated by labor, and it will continue to move that way as it becomes more and more a nice place for professionals working out of Madison and Rockford to live and less and less a manufacturing center.

Sure the rational thing to do when you inherit a trillion dollar debt is to spend more.
And it IS Bushes fault. He spent like a Democrat, Obama would never have gotten elected if he had instituted conservative fiscal policy.
