You young fellows have the right idea. When I saw my grandfather`s face when his bank account was reduced, (bank went broke), to 5 cents for every dollar in the account in the 1930s - I learned from that and am now retired and very, very comfortably. Congratulations on your good sense. That old adage about the ant and the grasshopper still rings true. Don`t buy a 5000 sq ft home when 2000 feet will do.

Why is it that America ranks 29th in education in the world <<<

Perhaps poor teaching may have something to do with it.

Having said that, ponder the fact that if the results of the educational system have been on a downward spiral for several generations, present day teachers of are a product of that decaying system.
