If the students are late for class or miss class, they still get consequences within the school. Doesn't this just change the way truancy is reported? It's still nice to see a pointless antiunion comment unrelated to the subject.
On Will it be Obama or Romney?

Romney has absolutely no plan to cut the deficit. Supply side will not do anything but increase it.Apparently the deficit is last on the list for conservatives. However, we know Romney will win a close race for Wisconsin's electoral votes because Waukesha county always "finds" an extra 5,000 votes or so for the republicans. Whatever it takes. How do you think a recount would go with Walkers troops carrying it out? Wait for it...

Please pull yourselves into the new millenium before you rank Wisconsin as top whatever in taxes. There is a trade off. We dropped alot of rank since 2002-amazing considering we've been told tax and spend liberal Doyle was taxing us off the planet.get intelligence

On Should city keep subsidizing golf courses?

Have any of you "golf is a rich person's sport" ever been on a golf course? The majority of people at our courses are middle class working people. Should the city subsidize golf? Probably not. They get to the end of the year and came up short. probably should have charged $1 a round more. If you read about golf now, playing is down in the last couple years.Recession. And doesn't the DNR stock lakes with fish? Who pays for the boat landings? No tax money used for that? Rotary gardens?? seriously. Private organization. Sell the courses to a private company, but check out the negatives of not having a "municipal" golf course. Golf is a rich man's sport. You just sound stupid when you say that

So the tax levy has gone up 1.9% a year in the last 10 years. Those greedy teachers with their Cadillac benefits have really been raking in the tax money. And Retiredairforce says the system is bad because of the unions? negotiating in good faith is bad?? What power do the negotiators have?? Can't go on strike. Wasn't the last contract for 2% a year raises? That doesn't seem like Wallstreet bonuses or profit sharing to me. The Walker people sold the idea that teachers were taxing everyone out of their homes. AT less than 2%?? That's your gripe? What cost in your life has gone up less than that?

Does anyone who comments here know how much the school tax levy has gone up in the last 10 years? How big a raise have teachers gotten in the past couple years. For the anti union people: is there an example of union negotiators being thugs in Janesville. I don't get out much

On Some question school workers' benefits
Posted on April 13 at 1:06 p.m. ( Suggest removal )
Sodeman says this is obscene, but he negotiated it into the contracts. Now he says it's more than tax payers have?? Maybe tax payers should get more of these benefits at their place of employment. What benefits do Phones Plus employees get? (Bill could let us know what they get)
Sodeman wants to cut school employees benefits to the same benefits as everyone else?
IS BILL IS A COMMUNIST??!
