hannah -your posts are exactly what I'm remembering about my youth! I probably had 3 pair of Tretorns (royal blue, yellow, and red plaid)wished however for a pair of Eastlands, but too expensive! I settled for an offbrand my mom bought me and never wore them! What about that store that I think was by Saxers, very dark inside with steps and sold Guess jeans and had a large wall with socks, I bought my ESPRIT bag there (very cool) to hold my books in at school. Bishops Buffett- I forgot about that place! Loved the Muppet show "PIGS IN SPACE..." and watching Looney Tunes for 1 1/2 hours Sat am either before or after the Smurfs. Begged for the Cabbage patch doll for Easter (Ginny was her name), and remembered when the ATARI came out and was oh so expensive at $99. Thank you all for the memories!
