My daughter has a severe anxiety disorder and going to places such as school does make her physically sick. Panic attacks, migraines , throwing up, heart palpitations . It is awful. She lays in her bed and just cries. She is on medication now and its getting better but its been awful. Bipolar is a ugly disease, mental illness is so misunderstood, there is a stigma and people need to educate them selves no one asks for any disease much less a mental one. Thank you for sharing with all of us.

mikef, I agree with you. Even though most families send their kids to kindergarten, I don't think it should be mandatory. I am guessing that the schools are behind, obviously. For each kid they have enrolled its $$$$ for them. But with it effecting less than 150 kids state wide it will help very few schools over all.

I really wondered why they bothered with this as they said at the time it would effect very few less than 150 kindergarten age kids state wide. So I would like to know how it all got started if it involves so few?

My mom went to this last year. She kept laughing saying there was more Rock County Jail inmates there, than people who came for the festival during the day. She was told they were there for clean up? I think its kind of unnerving being there were young children there.

I heard the same thing last week on one of the tv stations. It was clear at this point it was going to pass, no reason why it would not have. That is why it is old news. It was in our local paper last week as well that this was going on. Just trying to play catch up, must be a slow news day.

sorry ladystardust, its clear you are out of touch and you don't have anyone that comes any where close to having a social phobia because its not as easy as saying ' go you will be fine.' . That is the problem with the gazette allowing comments on these types of articles, some people have no clue and don't know when to be quite.
