american muslims do and should enjoy all rights and freedoms that americans of other faiths do. this is my opinion: if a survey of all muslims worldwide was taken, i would venture to guess 80% of islam would not condemn and would likely participate in eliminating by intimidation or taking the lives of christians and jews. if anyone doubts that, they are either BSing everyone, or have had their head in the sand for years,or possibly just not very intelligent. i also believe that most muslims who have been american citizens for years are much, much more tolerent than those living in islam. all one has to refer to is iran and saudi arabia where sharia law is practiced and see the lack of human decency and cruelty that is perpetuated against their citizens, especially women. nice people huh?

they have the right to build the mosque anywhere they please. everyone also has the right to stick their tongue out at everyone they see, the right to flatulate in a crowded place, the right to tell people that you think they are fat, tell people that in your opinion their children and spouse are ugly, etc. etc.
but common sense, the desire to not offend people, the decency to respect others feelings, and the knowledge of what is in good taste keeps people who want to do the right thing from exercising their right to do it. so, it is up to the muslim community to come together and voice a negative opinion of building the mosque at or near that location. they could even threaten to boycott the mosque if built there. for once the muslim community needs to PUBLICLY AND LOUDLY condemn fellow muslims, not because the builders do not have the right to build, but for the builders to do the right thing and show some sensitivity for once. the odds of muslims doing this are slim to none. for goodness sakes, they won't even loudly protest terrorism. but if they build it at that location i will defend their right to do it. i would also defend the rights of someone opening a gay bar on one side of it and a jewish temple on the other side. wonder how they would react to that happening since that would probably be against sharia law!

all that time and money to GET SOMEONE who is growing an herb. wow big men! they were just milking this for the $'s and to avoid real criminals. they should be ashamed of themselves. also, i don't care what the anti-pot posters say. they are either drunk or out of touch.
