I would like to thank the city plow operators who do a good job in my neighborhood. A big thumbs down to several homeowners on my drive in to work who felt the need to snowblow their driveway out into the street AFTER the plows came thru creating snow packed speed bumps.

I am glad he is home with his family. 95 hours of work per week for more than two months to get his time in before April 1st. That's alot of overtime. Glad to see that GM is keeping it's costs under control...

Cigarette butts thrown out of vehicles into the curb and grass clippings blown out into the street...I wonder where those go? I am thinking that some of it may make it into the waterways. I hope I am wrong.

I would hope to get a "thank you" for doing business at their establishment. Instead, I have gotten a "here ya go" or "have a good one" when it's all over. I just chalk it up to poor training and bad manners.

frusion, a Schwann's truck with frozen foods compared to this food truck with ready to eat items....apples and oranges. After looking at the second photo, my question is "where's the gloves and hairnets?? That's just gross and probably a health code violation.

Steve, did the repair shop charge you for the house call? I used an appliance dealer in Milton awhile ago for a repair. In addition to a parts charge and a labor charge, they charged me approximately $40 to make the less than 5 minute drive from their shop to my house. Time before that they forgot to special order a duct adaptor that I requested for a dryer when I bought 6 appliances from them. No apologies or special treatment resulting from their error. Never again...

The Board of Education made a poor decision? No, the panel also included staff and residents according to the news article. When does a person's current address make them the best candidate. Bartels or Schigur could have been offered the job, worked a short time, and then left the area. People move for better jobs.
