Kianna must live in my neighborhood. Our subdivision is always the Last to get plowed. Now, under our current snow is pure ice. And BTW, MY main route of travel is from my house. Not on Center or Milton Ave. I have a small car, so leaving early doesn't help me when I have to PUSH the snow!

I hope that all of this bad publicity doesn't hurt the animals. It's not their fault they are at the shelter. I just hope more people will try to adopt from the shelter now that CK is gone (not saying anything bad about her, I never met her).

Pitbulls were taken from the shelter and are now being bred? How many of the puppies are now listed as "terrier-mix" on the RCHS website? That always got me. I see a pitbull on their tv show,and it's a "terrier-mix". The best one though of a pit was when they said "I don't know what we have here, I see some collie, maybe some beagle..." I'm thinking Holy shnikees lady!! That looks like a purebred pitbull to me!!! I can do a better job of identifying (sp?) dogs than that!!!

The pet store I know of in Janesville sells mutts...puggles, labradoodles, maltipoos, and other obnoxious names for in-bred, puppy mill byproducts. And those are on sale for $999.00! Why are these pet stores allowed to sell animals? they legally cannot even screen the potential owners to see if they're capable pet owners!

It's really very egotistical. Everyone thinks they're more important than the other person; that where they're going is more important and therefore THEY should be able to do whatever they want to do. It really sucks if you drive a little car, the bigger cars and trucks do whatever they want because they know it won't hurt their truck as much...what about life? I hate driving for this reason. Everyone thinks only of themselves.

DogWalker: Personally, I would NOT walk my dogs in the woods for those 9 days. Take them to the dog park, or walk them in the city in a sub-division to get their exercise. If they like to be off-leash, take them to the Palmer Park dog area. After the 9 days, walk them where you usually do. Every year you hear stories of "grandpa thought Timmy's head was a squirrel" or something. People are so amped up, every noise sounds like a deer. Walk your pups somewhere else for 9 days.

If we're going to stuff money into something for children, why can't we stuff money into something worthwhile...their education. Instead of budget cuts to the schools and getting rid of art teachers, I'd rather support the schools than a children's museum I'd take my kids to once a year!
