I heard an SUV was waiting in the intersection to turn when the light turned yellow they thought it was clear to go through when the motorcycle sped up from behind the school bus trying to make the light and slammed into the turning SUV.

asamom, I was taught in drivers ed which was only 8 or 9 years ago for me that when turning in situations like that to get out into the intersection to be able to see better, I remember my driving instructor telling me that numerous times. But if this bike was behind a school bus when it sped up there was no way the driver of the other car would have saw him.
