On Aqua Jays explore idea of hosting the 4th of July

mark_twain - what exactly did the Odd Fellows do to you that makes you want to slam them every chance you get. They do nothing but help people every chance they get. They raise thousands of dollars and give it all away to people in need, people who are ill or down on their luck. What have you done to help people that makes you so much better then them.
On Fourth of July celebration lacks community support

I can't believe you would rather go to Milton and celebrate instead of staying in your own community and celebrating. Isn't that like buying a Honda and working at GM? No wonder GM closed down. I think the Odd Fellows did a wonderful job with the limited resources they had. And if people had just looked in the local business they would have seen canister for donations, but I would guess they were to busy in the other surrounding cities buying what they need because they obviously wouldn't buy in their own city. I think the Odd Fellows should go back to doing what they do best, helping people in need. Let the whiney people of Janesville do without. They would rather be in Milton anyway.
On Criticism of "Hammy" coverage hard to take

Curtaincall, let me tell you a little about these Harley Riders. These are the people who love the Hamiltons. Who will be there for them in their time of need. And these are the people who do benefits and raise money for people in need, who do toy runs at Christmas for those who can't afford to buy their children presents. If you don't like it, to bad. These people do more in a month for charity then you have probably done in your entire life. Danias, we are doing a benefit ride for the family, this weekend as a matter of fact.

Hammy was a great man, loved by so many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. To the family, our thoughts and prayers will always be with you. We love you. If we can do anything for you, please don't hesitate to ask. Mel and Brian.
On More Americans are caring for their children’s children

I can't believe that a grandparent would have to go through foster care classes or have to adopt their own grandchildren. Doesn't the state have enough unwanted children they need to worry about without hassling the grandparents. These boys are lucky that they have grandparents who are willing and able to provide for them and love them the way their parents can't or won't.

On Pain sufferers say fired doctor, opiods helped them

My husband and I started going to see Dr Mannino when he was dying from cancer and I continued to see Dr Mannino after he died. Dr Mannino is a good doctor. Mercy is in the wrong for firing one of the only doctors there that actually cares about their patients.
